Stone Cold Sober (Brantley Gilbert song) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Stone Cold Sober (Brantley Gilbert song)
"Stone Cold Sober" is a song co-written and recorded by American country rock artist Brantley Gilbert. It was released in August 2015 as the fourth single from his third studio album ''Just as I Am''. It was only included in the Platinum Edition of the album. ==Critical reception== An uncredited ''Taste of Country'' review stated that "“Stone Cold Sober” is a songwriter’s showcase that fans will need to dive into to fully appreciate. There’s nothing hooky about the track, but one only needs to go as far as his last single — the chart-topping “One Hell of an Amen” — to see this works for the just-married singer from Georgia." Josh Schott of ''Country Perspective'' was less favorable, rating the song a "4.5/10" and criticizing both the production as the lack of emotion in Gilbert's vocals. He concluded his review by saying "After listening to “Stone Cold Sober,” the song I immediately compared it to was Luke Bryan’s “Drink A Beer.” It tries so hard to be a more serious offering and has the elements to pull it off, but it just misses the mark in too many areas. “Stone Cold Sober” could have been a good song if the mood and tempo were slowed down and if Gilbert conveyed enough emotion to elevate the lyrics. And of course the electronic beats are completely unnecessary."
